Buying toy gifts is the easy part - but figuring out what kind of gifts to give that AREN'T toys can be a bit more tough. Don't fight toy clutter this year, instead find some awesome non toy gifts for kids of all ages in our list of 100+ ideas! This list contains gifts that are great for younger kids, older kids, boys, and girls. There's a gift for everyone on here this Christmas! | Gifts for kids | Non Toy Gifts | Christmas GiftsIs it really Christmas time again?? As per usual, we busted out our Christmas decor and got the tree up this weekend. There’s nothing quite like a festive house to bring on the holiday cheer! With the baby coming right around the corner, it seems like the holidays just snuck up on us. It’s also Sierra’s last Christmas as an only child which has been giving me a lot to think about. We make so many fun memories this time of year. But between the expense of gifts and the family outings, it can also put a strain on our budget (which will only get worse after Baby comes). So I’ve been thinking – do we really need to buy so many toys for our littles? They already receive more than they need from family and friends (not to mention what they get on birthdays).

Well this year we’re doing things a bit different – we’re only going to purchase a couple toys (one from Santa and one from us). Anything else will be non-toy items. We’re also going to limit the amount of gifts to keep things simple. As a guideline, everyone will get something they want, something they need, something to read, and something to wear. Then we’ll pick another item or two depending on the budget (like something to do or something to create). So far, I’ve found this method has brought on a much lighter and enjoyable gifting experience (not to mention it cuts down on costs and clutter)!

We also gift a Christmas Eve Box as a Christmas tradition each year – it’s super fun and the kiddos love it! You can find some ideas on what to put in a Christmas Eve Box here.

Buying toys is the easy part – I mean Sierra pretty much circled the entire Target toy ad this year – but coming up with some non toy gifts can be a little bit tougher. So to make it a little easier on you, I complied the gift ideas I found that are great for both girls and boys!

To make sorting out your ideas a bit easier, I even broken them down by category. So here it is! A compilation of 100+ non toy gifts for kids:
